Reception
At Alexander McLeod, we will admit a maximum of 90 children into the three Reception classes each September.
The easiest way to apply is through the eAdmissions portal - it is quick, easy and secure - and it is the fastest way to hear the results. If you would rather complete a paper form, you must complete the Royal Borough of Greenwich's common application form.
If you live in another borough, you need to apply through your home authority even if you wish to apply for a place in a Royal Greenwich school.
In–Year School Admissions
If you are allocated a place at Alexander McLeod, our member of our school office will be in contact to arrange a suitable time for you and your child to come and visit the school. During the visit, you will have the opportunity to complete any necessary forms as well as have a tour of the school building to familiarise your child with their new school. The visit is also a great opportunity for your child to meet their class teacher and new class; this is a really useful way of supporting their transition into their new school.
Upon completion of all the relevant forms, purchasing of school uniform and meeting the class teacher, your child will usually start at school within a week. It is normally preferred to start at the beginning of the week as it is quite often the start of new learning units.
