As the Headteacher of Alexander McLeod, it is my aim to ensure the school continues striving for excellence and being at the forefront of innovative and inspiring learning. My aim is to ensure that our children are confident, independent learners who uphold the British values we promote in our school. I have been in education now for 15 years and my passion is ensuring that all children have access to a high-quality curriculum and learning opportunities. I believe that all children are capable of great things if they are given the right environment to flourish in.

As the Deputy Headteacher, I am responsible for Curriculum & Safeguarding at Alexander McLeod Primary. I am dedicated to ensuring that our curriculum is engaging, inclusive, and meets the diverse needs of all learners. I work closely with teachers to design and implement innovative teaching strategies that challenge and inspire students. By continuously reviewing and refining our curriculum and teaching methods, I ensure they align with current educational standards and best practices. I am passionate about creating a dynamic learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and a love of learning in every student.

As the Assistant Head of Inclusion at Alexander McLeod Primary, I am committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can reach their full potential. With a strong background in special educational needs (SEN), I lead initiatives to ensure that all students, regardless of ability or background, have access to personalized learning opportunities. I collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop individualised education plans (IEPs), implement positive behavior strategies, and promote diversity and equality across the school. I am passionate about fostering a school culture where every student feels valued, supported, and able to thrive.

Mr Regan
As Assistant Headteacher at Alexander McLeod, I lead on teaching and learning across the school. I am committed to creating and maintaining high-quality learning environments where all children can thrive. Working closely with the senior leadership team and teaching staff, I support the continuous review and development of our teaching practices to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils. I am passionate about professional development and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues to embed evidence-informed approaches that inspire and support excellent teaching and learning.

I am proud to serve as Assistant Head Teacher with a focus on Personal Development. Supporting the whole child is at the heart of my approach, and I actively build on our work around British Values, strengthen the school’s community spirit, and foster deeper connections with local groups and stakeholders.
I believe strongly in the power of pupil voice and work to ensure our students have meaningful opportunities to take on active roles within school life.
Alongside this, I lead The Meadow—our dedicated provision for students with SEND—where I remain committed to championing an inclusive environment in which every child is recognised, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive.

I have been the business manager here at Alexander McLeod for over 5 years and I lead on Human Resources, Premises and Finance. In addition to this, I am an associate governor at the school. This is my first job in the education sector. I have a master's degree in Science and previously worked in project management and consulting in the energy industry.
