The Hive
Every child needs to leave our school being numerate, literate, reflective and enabled to make positive decisions about their own lives. They need to be emotionally literate and able to regulate their own behaviour. The Hive is a provision in our school designated to deliver bespoke interventions in a calm and nurturing environment. this provision enables children with executive functioning difficulties, social and emotional mental health needs and sensory needs to thrive and make progress.
Throughout the day, children are offered a wide-range of interventions which target listening, concentration , anger management, emotional regulation and friendship skills. through a range of high-quality interventions, we provide the support that some of our children need.
The Hive is a safe space where children can come to calm and reflect, supported by trained adults and therapists.
The Hive is designed to create a therapeutic learning environment which focuses on building self-confidence and resilience that encourages our children to try.
